WBAL sports director and Ravens announcer Gerry Sandusky tweeted this afternoon:
“Penn State sent my son a college interest letter today. Do they really think anyone named Sandusky wants to go there now?”
Baltimore’s popular broadcaster, Gerry Sandusky, and the former Penn State football coach and accused child molester, Jerry Sandusky, are no relation.
Our Gerry, with a “G,” told The Baltimore Sun last fall: “What I have discovered is that there is this parallel universe of people who have the same name but no relationship to people who have committed heinous crimes. Somewhere there is a plumber named Bernie Madoff.”
