Last year, New Jersey governor and Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie came to Maryland several times to support Larry Hogan’s underdog campaign for governor of Maryland as well as to imagine political rival Martin O’Malley as a “big loser.”
He’s back in the state today to make “an announcement related to his presidential campaign.” He’ll be stopping by the Annapolis Double T Diner. (Mmmmm, Double T.)
Hogan and Christie are, by all appearances, political best buds. Christie has been sporting a “Hogan Strong” bracelet ever since the Maryland governor publicly announced his cancer diagnosis.
Sources told NBC News that Hogan will be endorsing Christie in the 2016 Republican presidential primary.
