Wednesday, March 27, 7:00 p.m. – Erin Hagar at the Church of the Redeemer. Erin Hagar writes fiction and nonfiction for children and teens, often focusing her projects on interesting characters and offbeat moments in women’s history. In this presentation, she’ll share stories she’s learned from the likes of Julia Child, the Farmerettes of World War I (think Rosie the Riveter, on farms), and the inventors of the sports bra. Erin will also present a (sort-of) insider’s view of the children’s book industry and discuss her personal mission to support artists and readers of all ages.
Speakers begin at 7:00 p.m. each evening and do not require prior sign-up.
Church of the Redeemer is located at 5603 N. Charles Street in North Baltimore. For more information about the event, click here.
