Comedian John Mulaney is bringing his “Mister Whatever” tour to Baltimore next year.
The Baltimore show will take place Friday, March 13, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. at Lyric Baltimore.
Ticket pre-sales began Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. local time. General sales will begin Friday, Oct. 24, at 10 a.m.
The comedian is hardly new in town, after he performed at Baltimore’s Hippodrome Theatre in 2022 and the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in 2017.
Mulaney also performed at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia in 2022 and at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland in Hanover in 2023.
Mulaney has released five stand-up comedy specials: “The Top Part” (2009), “New in Town” (2012), “The Comeback Kid” (2015), “Kid Gorgeous” (2018), and “Baby J” (2023). He also released a children’s musical comedy variety special called “John Mulaney & The Sack Lunch Bunch,” and a stage show “The Oh, Hello Show” with fellow comedian Nick Kroll as their alter-egos George St. Geegland and Gil Faizon.
He also has supplied the voice for several animated characters, such as Andrew Glouberman on “Big Mouth” and Peter Porker in “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.”
Mulaney hosted a limited-run live talk show series on Netflix, called “John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in LA.” Multiple guests had Baltimore connections, including filmmaker John Waters, actor and comedian Stavros Halkias, and Broadway actor Andre De Shields (De Shields portrayed a character named Chesterton Cheadle, said to be “the cat who inspired Chester Cheetah,” the Cheetos snack food mascot).
