Foundry Row, the Wegmans-anchored shopping complex slated to open in Owings Mills in 2016, just announced eight new retailers. The 50-acre former Solo Cup factory will host LA Fitness, Sports Authority, DSW, Panera Bread, Ulta, Zoe’s Kitchen, Smashburger, and Nalley Fresh. That’s in addition to the obsessed-over grocery giant.
According to the Baltimore Sun, Foundry Row will support 3,100 permanent jobs, in addition to 2,300 jobs during construction. And here some more numbers: In addition to the 130,000 square feet dedicated to Wegmans, Foundry Row will have 365,000 square feet of retail space.
The entire complex was at least 77 percent leased as of February, a condition the Baltimore Business Journal attributed to having Wegmans on board from the beginning.
