Twitter was abuzz this morning with news that George and Amal Clooney had been spotted in Baltimore. My imagination immediately started racing–were they in Fells Point, admiring the waterfront views? Browsing on the Avenue in Hampden? None of the above, it turns out.
So George Clooney visits Baltimore two days after I leave. I really don’t know why I bother leaving the house at all with this luck.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the celebrity couple are visiting the other Baltimore–in County Cork, Ireland. But I don’t see any reason they can’t turn their chartered super yacht (reportedly $782,735 a week!) around and motor across the Atlantic to come visit us here, too.
