If you’re heading to the Johns Hopkins Spring Fair this weekend, be sure to jump over to Shriver Hall to check out the film festival. The Johns Hopkins Film Festival will run from Friday, April 12 at 2 p.m. until Sunday, April 14, at 2 p.m. The festival will feature not just student films, but also those by Baltimore filmmakers and others.
Could the “WTF Shorts,” scheduled to screen on Friday at 10 p.m., unveil the next John Waters? The festival program describes the ten short films featured in the category as, “challenging, bold, and at times outright shocking…films that bend reality and expose the horror, humor, and absurdity around us. Buckle up.” Sounds intriguing.
Tickets are $5 for a single screening, $10 for a day pass, and $20 for a weekend pass. Free admission for JHU students, faculty, and employees with valid Hopkins ID.
All screenings are in Shriver Hall on the JHU campus. For details on the schedule, click here.
