REBECCA BRENNAN, M.S., LOWER SCHOOL DIVISION HEAD
The St. Paul’s Schools

Rebecca Brennan, M.S., joins The St. Paul’s Schools as lower school division head with more than a decade of experience in elementary education. Most recently, she served as principal of Solley Elementary School in Anne Arundel County, where she fostered a culture of instructional excellence through collaborative leadership, innovative coaching, and a shared vision centered on student success. Previously, she served as assistant principal at Monarch Global Academy and Windy Hill Elementary School, leading literacy initiatives and strengthening student support systems. Becca is passionate about creating joyful, student-centered learning environments where every child feels known, challenged, and inspired to thrive.

What drew you to a career in education?
I believe schools shape far more than academic outcomes—they shape confidence, character, curiosity, and a child’s sense of possibility. Becoming a mother deepened
that conviction, giving me an even greater appreciation for the trust families place in schools and the profound impact educators have on a child’s full journey. Throughout my career as a teacher, principal, and now division head, I’ve been most energized by creating environments where children feel known, challenged, and inspired to discover their unique gifts.

What qualities set your school apart?
At St. Paul’s, learning is an adventure, and every child is encouraged to explore with confidence because they are surrounded by a community of trust and authentic belonging.

We combine academic excellence with transformational experiences that nurture curiosity, creativity, character, and well-being. Our exceptional faculty know each student deeply and create opportunities for children to discover their talents while challenging them to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We prepare students not only for future success, but to lead with love, act with courage, and use their education to make the world better.
