The post is well worth checking out, since along with the song titles it’s chock full of links to the songs on YouTube and elsewhere. Looking at it way too closely, as we tend to do with these kinds of things, also reveals some variations on a theme.
For instance, Disappear Fear’s “From Baltimore to Everywhere” from 1988 was followed up five years later by Go West’s “From Baltimore to Paris.” Sometimes, you have to be a little more specific if you want a hit.
