A total of 640,214 Marylanders, or 10.6% of the state’s population, have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, state data showed on Thursday.

Of the two-dose Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, Maryland has administered a total of 1,096,241 first doses and 598,647 second doses.

In the past 24 hours, providers have administered 26,961 first doses and 14,257 second doses.

Maryland providers have also administered a total of 41,567 doses of the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine, including 7,109 doses that were administered in the past 24 hours.

State health officials on Thursday confirmed another 924 coronavirus cases, totaling 390,490 Marylanders who have tested positive for COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic.

Meanwhile, 3,058,632 Marylanders have tested negative for coronavirus as of Thursday morning, according to the Maryland Department of Health’s COVID-19 Case Map Dashboard.

Maryland has completed 8,196,766 coronavirus tests to date, with 35,853 test results reported in the past 24 hours.

An average of 3.58% of the state’s COVID-19 tests over the last seven days came back positive.

The seven-day average rate of positive tests yesterday was 3.68% for Marylanders younger than 35 and 3.51% for Marylanders older than 35.

Currently, 788 Marylanders are hospitalized with COVID-19, with four fewer hospitalizations than Wednesday.

Of the people currently hospitalized due to coronavirus, 579 are in acute care and 209 are in intensive care.

The number of acute care patients rose by two while the number of intensive care patients declined by six.

Maryland has hospitalized a total of 35,924 COVID-19 patients to date.

A total of 7,832 Marylanders have died from COVID-19, with 12 additional deaths reported since Wednesday. There are also 182 deaths suspected to be related to coronavirus.

As of 10 a.m. Thursday, there have been 74,851 confirmed cases in Prince George’s County; 64,399 in Montgomery County; 52,271 in Baltimore County; 41,282 in Baltimore City; 36,655 in Anne Arundel County; 17,324 in Frederick County; 16,326 in Howard County; 12,864 in Harford County; 12,599 in Washington County; 9,158 in Charles County; 7,736 in Carroll County; 6,859 in Wicomico County; 6,432 in Allegany County; 5,248 in St. Mary’s County; 5,080 in Cecil County; 3,736 in Calvert County; 3,295 in Worcester County; 2,607 in Queen Anne’s County; 2,414 in Somerset County; 2,382 in Dorchester County; 2,063 in Caroline County; 1,911 in Talbot County; 1,854 in Garrett County; and 1,144 in Kent County, according to the dashboard.

Of the Marylanders who have tested positive for COVID-19, 113,132 are Black, 62,593 are Hispanic, 135,973 are white, 9,032 are Asian, 18,484 are another race, and data is not available for the remaining 51,276.

Maryland has identified 204,159 of the confirmed COVID-19 patients as female and 186,331 as male.

Of the state’s confirmed cases, 19,598 are people age 9 or younger; 37,768 are people ages 10-19; 71,050 are people ages 20-29; 66,983 are people ages 30-39; 59,076 are people ages 40-49; 58,810 are people ages 50-59; 39,821 are people ages 60-69; 22,544 are people ages 70-79; and 14,840 are people age 80 or older.

Nationwide, there have been at least 29,155,279 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the United States, including at least 529,269 deaths. The U.S. has conducted more than 368.6 million coronavirus tests to date as of 10 a.m. Thursday, according to a real-time dashboard created by Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Systems Science and Engineering.
