The Over-Board came up with a great white catch this week while fishing near Ocean City.
According to Delmarva Now, the boat’s crew pulled in a Great White Shark while fishing. This wasn’t exactly Mary Lee, but it was a momentous catch for the crew nonetheless.
The captain estimated it was about 7 ft. and 150 pounds. Since this is a fishing tale, that’s subject to rise as the legend increases.
While it may be a terrifying prospect, the crew said the shark didn’t put up much of a fight. They couldn’t keep it due to endangered species laws, but grabbed a few photos before tossing the shark back.
Let’s hope the shark on the harbor is limited to the name of a restaurant at the beach for the rest of the summer.
