Let’s have more of this

Not only are the Baltimore Orioles leading the AL East right now; they’ve made it to 100 home runs in just 63 games, putting them in striking distance of multiple records.According to Jon Meoli at the Baltimore Sun, the O’s are on pace for 260 homers this season. The record is 264. If they can crank up their production just a bit above their current pace of 1.6 homers per game, they’ll beat it.

And if the second half of June is anything like the first, they’re going to absolutely crush the record for most home runs in a month. (That record, of 58, is currently co-owned by the 1987 Orioles and the 1999 Mariners, by the way.)
