Public voting is now open for the Homecoming Heroes Program, a signature community engagement program offered by Baltimore Homecoming and sponsored by T. Rowe Price.

The Homecoming Heroes Program spotlights people who make a difference in Baltimore’s communities and rewards them by giving them access to Baltimore Homecoming’s alumni network and special programming to help them maximize their impact.

The public nominated people making positive changes in their communities, and a selection committee comprising past Homecoming Heroes, leaders in the nonprofit industry, and other community members chose 10 semi-finalists. The Baltimore community can vote until July 26 for the final five winners.

Winners will receive a cash prize and be invited to share their work on stage during Baltimore Homecoming 2025.

“This is an exciting opportunity for the community to recognize and support those making a difference in Baltimore. We encourage everyone to learn about these incredible individuals and vote for the ones who inspire them most,” said Mandy Snyder, Baltimore Homecoming’s executive director. “The Homecoming Heroes Program has truly helped some of our city’s smaller nonprofits expand and extend their impact to serve even more people in the community.”

Baltimore Homecoming asks the community to cast their vote for their choices from the list of semi-finalists below. Their work and focuses range from maternal health care to youth services, reintegration for formerly incarcerated individuals to mentoring, and more. Each semi-finalist has a video produced by Wide Angle Youth Media voters can view on the voting site.
