Amid the raft of charges listed against ex-Ravens lineman Terrence Cody on Maryland’s court search website, one stands out: Possession of Alligator.
We already knew that Cody was facing animal cruelty charges in connection with the death of his dog, but the reptile was unexpected. In addition to having the alligator, records also allege that Cody failed to provide it with proper space, food and shelter. Adding further to the list of charges, Cody was also charged with marijuana possession. If you want to read every charge, the Baltimore Sun has the full indictment.
The 349-pound defensive tackle was released by the Ravens on the same day the indictment was handed down earlier this week.
