You’re invited to a special screening of the movie EMBRACE on Monday, February 27th at 7:30pm in Harbor East. When Body Image Activist Taryn Brumfitt posted an unconventional before-and-after photo in 2013 it was seen by more than 100 million people worldwide and sparked an international media frenzy. EMBRACE follows Taryn’s crusade as she explores the global issue of body loathing, inspiring us to change the way we feel about ourselves and think about our bodies.
We have a limited number of seats to fill to guarantee the showing of this film (if we don’t get to 90 tickets, you won’t be charged for admission), proceeds of which go to Araminta Freedom Initiative, a non-profit with a local branch that works to stop child sex-trafficking. Please click to reserve/order your tickets. Bring a friend, young woman in your life, any human that could benefit from this positive message…it’s a message we all need to hear.
This is a special screening, and all tickets must be reserved in advance. None will be sold at the door.
