I’m a really quick learner! I also like to play with toys and would love if you join in. I lived with kids, cats and even a rabbit in my previous home! What more could you ask for? I would make a very loyal companion and wonderful family addition for anyone, so please stop in and meet me today!

Lori

Hello! My name is Lori, and I was brought to BHS with my 6 kittens because we were found in someone’s yard. I’m a sweet girl who enjoys laying on soft cat beds and being surrounded by stuffed animals or cat toys that have catnip in them. So far all I’ve really known are the frightening outdoors and cages. Now I would truly love to find my forever home with a great family. If you have room in your home and heart for me then please visit BHS soon to meet me! It’s Black Cats are Lucky Month at BHS so my adoption fee is waived!

Hello. My name is Benson and I was brought to BHS because my owner had a young child and new baby and thought I would be too much dog for the young children. I am a really sweet boy who enjoys being around people, running and jumping around and laying on your lap.

I also enjoy playing with any type toys. According to my previous owner I have never been around cats and I play best with puppies or older dogs. If you have another dog, we would do a dog intro to make sure

everyone gets along. It would also be best if I go to a home where the kids are at least 8 years old. I would love to find a forever home very soon so please come to BHS and meet me. Thank you.

Pet Adoption: Baltimore Humane Society’s Pets of the Week

Hi there. My name is Lucy, a boxer/terrier mix. I was brought to BHS with my housemate (already adopted) because my owner lost his home and we were being kept outside all the time. I enjoy new people and being the center of attention. I seem to have a recurring issue with an eye discharge, but don’t be alarmed; the vet gives me eye drops and medicine for it. Even though I came here with another dog, I can be extremely dog selective. I really wouldn’t mind at all to be the only dog in the home because that means more love, food, toys, and attention for me. Cats and I don’t get along, so no cats please. I enjoy playing with tennis balls and rope toys, but especially love long walks. It would be wonderful to be in a home again. A safe and loving forever home is something I am craving so hopefully you could be the family or person for me. Please stop by soon to see me.

Hello. My name is Halo and I came to BHS because my owners said they didn’t have enough time to spend with me anymore. I am a super sweet, big dog who is full of energy. Even though I’m big, I will try to lay on your lap and snuggle up with you. I’ve lived with other dogs before so if you have another dog we should meet to make sure everyonegets along. I’ve never been around cats, though, so I’d have to be cat tested. I also lived with small children and although I am a big boy and roughhoused with them, I never hurt them. I enjoy going for walks and also like playing with tennis balls and eating frozen kongs. The staff here really like me because I am very friendly and fun to play with. Please come to BHS soon to visit and take me for a walk!
