The Village of Cross Keys will soon welcome two new businesses: a women’s fashion boutique and a custom framing retailer.

Women’s fashion retailer Panache will open a location at Cross Keys on Thursday. The store will fill the space formerly occupied by Chezelle, between Octavia Boutique and Merritt Gallery | Renaissance Fine Arts.

“Our boutique began right here in Baltimore, and it feels only fitting to return to the place where

it all started,” said Panache owner Vanessa Fava in a statement. “The newly revitalized Cross Keys represents renewal, community, and growth – values that mirror our own journey. By re-opening here, we’re investing in the heart of our hometown and creating a space where style, community, and connection can thrive once again.”

Framebridge, which provides custom picture frames as well as art and souvenirs, has also signed a lease at the shopping center. It will occupy an approximately 1,000-square-foot space that was previously part of the late jewelry artist Betty Cooke’s The Store Ltd.

Fellow retailer Ruth Shaw filled most of The Store Ltd. space in April. Framebridge is slated to open this winter and will take over the remaining portion of Cooke’s former store, between Ruth Shaw and children’s clothing store Pied Piper.

“The Cross Keys Framebridge store will be their first in Baltimore and will offer a unique andcompelling experience for customers,” said Arsh Mirmiran, the partner at Caves Valley Partners leading the ongoing redevelopment of Cross Keys. “Framebridge’s offerings are perfectly suited to Cross Keys’ customer base and surrounding residential communities.”
