“The model came from upstate New York and belongs to the tribal nation Nipmuc and came to our studio for a figure we built for a historical museum up there… The Mohammed Ali figure was built for a sports museum in Detroit, and the museum never opened — there were to be a group of five traveling exhibits of the same/similar work that failed to happen… We now have two Mohammed figures and the mold to make more — know anyone who wants one let me know.”
