Cindy Wolf will be looking to bring Baltimore a James Beard award for the second year in a row.
The Charleston chef was named a finalist in the Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic category at the Tuesday nominations announcement for the foodie worldโs entry into awards season. Charleston was also named a semifinalist in the Outstanding Wine Program category, but wasnโt selected as a finalist.
Wolf will be looking to follow last yearโs win in the same category by Woodberry Kitchenโs Spike Gjerde. She has been a finalist the last two years, as well as 2006 and 2008. Along with Charleston, Foreman Wolf Restaurant Group dining spots in Baltimore include Petit Louis Bistro, Pazo, Johnnyโs and Cinghiale.
The awards are set to be presented May 2 at a gala in Chicago.
