Cindy Wolf will be looking to bring Baltimore a James Beard award for the second year in a row.

The Charleston chef was named a finalist in the Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic category at the Tuesday nominations announcement for the foodie worldโ€™s entry into awards season. Charleston was also named a semifinalist in the Outstanding Wine Program category, but wasnโ€™t selected as a finalist.

Wolf will be looking to follow last yearโ€™s win in the same category by Woodberry Kitchenโ€™s Spike Gjerde. She has been a finalist the last two years, as well as 2006 and 2008. Along with Charleston, Foreman Wolf Restaurant Group dining spots in Baltimore include Petit Louis Bistro, Pazo, Johnnyโ€™s and Cinghiale.

The awards are set to be presented May 2 at a gala in Chicago.
