This year Camden Yards is adding a classic Reuben to the concessions roster, and Iโ€™m sure itโ€™s good, but thereโ€™s no way Iโ€™m choosing that over any of these inventive and twisted items I canโ€™t get anywhere else. With that in mind, here are three brand-new menu items worth knowing about:

+ The Half-smoke Sausage. A sausage from Romaโ€™s Gourmet covered with grilled barbecue onions, according to the Sun. WJZ claims itโ€™s going to be Old Bay-ified, too. Get it from das Sausage House or Jack Danielโ€™s Grill.

+ The Crab Roll. On the face of it, the least far-out of the trio. Itโ€™s a cold crab-salad sandwich, the Baltimore version of the New England lobster roll.  Dempseyโ€™s Brew Pub executive chef Josh Distenfeld expects it to be โ€œa nice cold sandwich during the hot summer months here.โ€

+ The Early Bird Dog. This is one of those why-didnโ€™t-I-think-of-it items: an Esskay hot dog getting cozy with bacon, a fried egg, and cheese. Get it at Stuggyโ€™s on Eutaw Street.

Letโ€™s go Oโ€™s!
