Unsurprisingly, Donald Trump became the first Republican presidential candidate to weigh in on a vexing topic thatโ€™s been floating around since the first GOP debate: Is Joe Flacco a elite quarterback?

Trump issued the response for all to see to @HighSock_Sunday in a Twitter Q&A today.

.@realDonaldTrump @TwitterNYC do u think joe flacco is a elite NFL quaterback #AskTrump

It may be nice to at last have an answer to this question (especially for Ravens fans who agree with Trumpโ€™s response), but it set off a flurry of moves for the man who first moved the needle on the issue and marched with the signs in the street. Reaction from PFT Commenter:

At the end of the day, it appears Trump made it tougher for other candidates to get into the debate:

Im declaring a embargo on all elite related questons.Unless your a presidential candidate w/ > 1% in the polls you may not address the issue

Whether itโ€™s a topic on cable news tonight remains to be seen.
