After shortening their hours of operation for the winter, all Enoch Pratt Free Library branches will return to their previous expanded hours next Monday, Feb. 7.
The Central Library branch, located at 400 Cathedral Street, will operate from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
The Southeast Anchor branch, located at 3601 Eastern Avenue, and the Pennsylvania Avenue branch, located at 1531 W. North Avenue, will operate from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
All other branches will operate from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
All branches remain closed on Sundays.
The library system will continue to enforce COVID-19 safety procedures, including requiring all staff and patrons to complete a health screening before entering the building, provide contact information for contact tracing purposes, wear a mask over their nose and month at all times (if someone does not have a face mask, a disposable one will be provided), and practice six feet of social distancing.
Hand sanitizer stations continue to be available. Buildings will be regularly cleaned and disinfected.
Library patrons and staff who feel ill are asked to stay home. Contactless pick-up of books and other library materials is also available with the Pratt’s Sidewalk Service.
