Baltimore Ravens mascot Poe is recovering after falling and suffering an injury during a halftime event at the Ravens’ preseason game Saturday against the Washington Commanders.
Poe was participating in a football game with fellow team mascots – including fellow Baltimore avian the Orioles’ Bird – against members of the Amateur Athletic Union Baltimore youth football team.
During that matchup, Poe was running with the ball and trying to evade an opposing player’s tackle when he fell.
