Rapper Jack Harlow will headline Preakness LIVE on Saturday, May 18, 2024.
The rest of the musical lineup will include Chantel Jeffries (Ceejay The DJ), Channel Tres, Gryffin, and Frank Walker.
This year, instead of being positioned in the center of the Pimlico infield, the Preakness LIVE stage will be relocated to provide view of the final stretch – the most exciting moment in the race.
Preakness LIVE is part of Baltimore 1/ST, a campaign launched in 2022 to champion Preakness’ connection to Baltimore. Baltimore 1/ST collaborates with Baltimore’s own Kevin Liles, chairman and CEO of 300 Elektra Entertainment, and Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott to bring Baltimore pride to Preakness. The Preakness Stakes is the second jewel of the three races that make up the Triple Crown.
The Pimlico infield will highlight Baltimore’s culinary culture, with pop-ups by local restaurants serving their favorite signature dishes to the crowd.
Harlow began his career in music in 2015, achieving his first mainstream hit in 2020 with the single “What’s Poppin.” The song was remixed with DaBaby, Tory Lanez, and Lil Wayne, earning a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance. He’s released two albums and had three singles hit number one, including “Lovin on Me,” released in 2023. He won Top New Artist in 2021 at the Billboard Music Awards and was named “Hitmaker of the Year” by Variety the same year.
