Joe Squared Joins Meyerhoff, Peabody Institute as Concert Settings for BSO’s ‘New Music Festival’

The Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall and Peabody Institute are well-known venues for Baltimore Symphony Orchestra performances. A three-day music festival next month plans to add a third location: pizza restaurant Joe Squared, located on North Avenue.

AEG Live may have lost out during the bidding process for the contract to operate Pier Six Pavilion, but the media conglomerate isn’t going down without a fight.

The Baltimore Development Corporation, on behalf of the city, announced today that it will enter into an “exclusive negotiating privilege” with a group headed by Live Nation and SMG to take over the job of managing, promoting and presenting live entertainment at the Pier Six Pavilion.
