Grammy-nominated artists Fat Joe and Jadakiss are bringing their “Joe and Jada” podcast to Pier Six Pavilion on Friday, Sept. 18 for a live taping followed by a performance of music from their catalogs.
Gov. Wes Moore and Mayor Brandon M. Scott will join the duo in the waterfront taping of their podcast, which is livestreamed as a video on Netflix. They will discuss how art, culture, and entertainment fuel tourism, economic growth, and the future of cities.
“This event captures what Pier Six Pavilion is becoming, a place where music, culture and meaningful conversations come together on Baltimore’s waterfront,” said LaRian Finney, managing partner of The Finn Group.
In March 2026, The Finn Group and New York’s The Knitting Factory Entertainment partnered to take over as operators for Pier Six Pavilion. In July, the inaugural “Soul on the Water” concert series debuted, after the Finn Group bade farewell to their “Jazzy Summer Nights” series last summer. That concert series ran for 25 years and welcomed more than 100,000 guests during its era.
This Friday’s podcast taping and performance is a stand-alone event, but a continuation of the first season of the reimagined Pier Six Pavilion experience. Since reopening under the new leadership of The Finn Group and The Knitting Factory Entertainment, the concert venue has seen more than 90,000 fans over 25 concerts, performances, and special events. The 2026 season continues through late October.
The “Joe and Jada” podcast launched in May 2025, with the two rap artists talking openly about music, sports, entertainment and culture. Guests on the podcast have included Cardi B, DJ Khaled, Allen Iverson, Teyana Taylor, Common, Ciara, and Raekwon. The show has racked up nearly one million followers across YouTube and social media platforms. It received the 2026 Shorty Award for Art & Culture Podcast, streams on Netflix, and has audio episodes available on iHeartRadio and other major podcast platforms.
After the podcast taping on Friday, Fat Joe and Jadakiss will take the Pier Six Pavilion stage for a one-night-only performance overlooking Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. The pair brings more than three decades of hip-hop history, culture-defining music, and unique collaborations to fans on the waterfront.
Fat Joe is a five-time Grammy nominee for hits including “What’s Luv?,” “Lean Back,” “Make It Rain,” and “All the Way Up.” Three-time Grammy nominee Jadakiss has built an acclaimed solo career in addition to his work as a member of The LOX.
Doors open for the “Joe and Jada” live podcast and performance at 6 p.m. The podcast begins at 7:15 p.m. and the performance begins at 9 p.m. Pier Six Pavilion is located at 731 Eastern Ave., Baltimore. Tickets are available on the Pier Six Pavilion website.
