Inspired by the wacky road trip movie Road to Rio, the Creative Alliance’s Marquee Ball Saturday April 26 features a fab samba dance party, sultry cocktail gathering, and a glam dinner honoring two of Baltimore’s most vibrant cultural leaders: Gary Vikan, former Director of The Walters Art Museum and Spike Gjerde of Woodberry Kitchen.
It’s THREE PARTIES IN ONE SIZZLING NIGHT!
(and we’re media sponsors, too!)
The night starts with the Rio Preview Dinner at 5:30,
honoring Gary Vikan, Baltimore cultural icon who led the Walters for many years, and Superstar Chef Spike Gjerde of Woodberry Kitchen, a national leader in the locavore movement and winner of the Martha Stewart 2013 Tastemaker Award. The seated dinner will feature food farm sourced in collaboration with Woodberry Kitchen! Click here for tickets & info.

Next, is the Carnaval Cocktail Party w/ bossa nova vocalist Rose Moraes at 7:30pm.
