Ahh, December. The time of year when the lights go up, family members come to stay, the kids get a long break from school, and everyone is suddenly in need of a drink. (Not the kids, though, of course.)
If your drinking preferences include locally brewed beer, you’re in luck: Diamondback Beer, a new craft brewery, has just appeared on the Baltimore scene.
Diamondback was founded by three friends who started brewing while at the University of Maryland (hence the Terp reference). So far, they’re only offering one variety, 3:30 Amber Ale, which features “a unique selection of hearty malts with citrus hops to create a bold and unforgettable taste.” You can find it on tap at Liam Flynn’s Ale House, Birroteca, Rowhouse Grille, and for sale at Wells Discount Liquors and Canton Crossing Wine & Spirits, among other local spots.
