Over the weekend, Wide Angle Youth Media, a Baltimore-based non-profit that provides local youth with media skills and training, got some bad news.

According to WAYMโ€™s Facebook page, the organizationโ€™s office at 26th and Howard Streets was burglarized over the weekend. The silver lining, however, is that most of the organizationโ€™s cameras and recording equipment was not taken in the robbery.

Wide Angle Youth Media is one of those awesome, grassroots organizations that does a lot of on-the-ground work helping Baltimore City kids learn new skills, and also provides them a space to tell their own stories. This unfortunate occasion is a really good excuse to send some money their way, if youโ€™re so inclined.
