Two people were killed in a shooting in the parking lot of the Canton Crossing shopping center on Thursday, Baltimore police confirmed.

Police said a man and woman were shot. Both victims were found inside a car, and said the incident was being investigated as a possible murder-suicide.

Councilman James Kraft, who represents the area, said he received information from police that the shooting occurred inside the vehicle, and that it was a domestic dispute.

“This was not a random act,” he said.

Located along Boston Street, Canton Crossing is home to a Target, Harris-Teeter, Old Navy and numerous eateries.
