According to the traditional Chinese calendar, 2015 (well most of it, anyway) is the Year of the Goat. According to online real estate brokerage Redfin, it’s the Year of Upper Fells Point.
Baltimore Business Journal reports that Redfin found that as home prices in Canton are getting beyond the means of some residents, they are increasingly looking for digs in the more affordable Upper Fells Point. The neighborhood’s proximity to Patterson Park and Johns Hopkins is another reason Redfin predicts the neighborhood will be “one of the many residential hotspots in Southeast Baltimore over the next few years.”
Reservoir and Bolton Hill are also primed for a surge of real estate activity. So, “get in on it,” Baltimore. (Remember that one?)
