Fishbowl does not publish on federal holidays, including on President’s Day.
Baltimore has always taken pride in our nation’s presidents, notably George Washington, who was born on Feb. 22. The holiday was moved to the third Monday in November in 1968. Baltimore is home to the nation’s first monument to George Washington, erected in Mount Vernon Place by private citizens in 1809.
Fishbowl will return tomorrow with fresh news and features. We appreciate our readers, and we thank you for coming back!
