Already been to the Taylor Swift corn maze but feeling like it’s too early for haunted houses to open? Cockeysville has a giant pumpkin to clog the fall fun vacuum.
The Great Pumpkin arrived to Valley View Farms garden center on Wednesday. Big Earl weighs in at 1,543 pounds, and required a forklift to move. That’s a well-fed pumpkin. According to the Baltimore Sun, Big Earl hails from the Upstate New York town of Clinton, but he’ll be in Baltimore for Halloween.
Valley View staff say the pumpkin will be on display through Halloween. At noon on that day, they’ll break the pumpkin open and count of all the seeds inside. Participants can put in a guess beforehand.
