Adopt a Pet: Baltimore Humane Society’s Pets of the Week

Hi there. My name is Charger and I am believed to be a Border Collie/Lab Mix. My previous owner brought me and my housemate to BHS because he lost his home (my housemate is not available for adoption just yet).

I am a sweet dog who can be very timid and stand-offish at first, but a lot of fun to be around once I get to know you. I enjoy running around in the BHS play yard and playing with stuffed animals. I will carry them around and play tug of war with you. I have lived with a female dog and been around other dogs in my previous home. Supposedly I either ignore other dogs or am gentle or submissive with them. I have never been around cats so if you have one, I can be cat tested.

I’m a pretty calm dog and have either ignored or been gentle with kids when around them so bring your children to meet me! I have not had any accidents in my run, so housetraining will probably not be an issue. Please consider coming to meet me if you are looking for a family dog to add to your household.

Hello. My name is Sonny and I am a beautiful long haired cat who was brought to BHS because our owner’s cat unexpectedly had kittens. I am super sweet and enjoy being around people. I did have a sister, Cher, but she was already adopted. I would love to find a forever home where I can be loved and held and spoiled. Furry mice, toy cat balls, and catnip are pretty fun so if you adopt me please keep these things in mind. Hope to see you soon.
