Baltimore: home to annual gatherings for enthusiasts and obsessors ranging from the Bronies to comic book lovers to Potterheads. Now joining that list of subjects: Aliens, man.

The East Coast’s first-ever AlienCon is set for Nov. 9-11 at the Baltimore Convention Center downtown, put on by The History Channel and Mischief Management, which have already teamed up for two such conventions in California.

Like any good con, this one sports some recognizable names and faces, including “Ancient Aliens” host Giorgio A. Tsoukalos (pictured above in his infamous meme), actor Michael Dorn, who played Worf in the “Star Trek” series and actress Jenna Coleman, who portrayed Clara Oswald on the BBC’s “Doctor Who.” There will also be a host of scientists, archaeologists, engineers and others ready to, as a release puts it, “discuss the sometimes controversial theory that extraterrestrials have visited Earth for millions of years.”

“Ancient Aliens” is also hosting its own panel discussions and exhibits of artifacts for fans of the series now in its 13th season. There will be cosplay, too, with a costume party and contest on the evening of Nov. 10.

Tickets, on sale now, range from $61 for a one-day pass to $124 for the full weekend, or more premium options costing up to $686.
