Now that the first dirt has been thrown, construction is set to begin on Anthem House. The Locust Point development is the latest mixed-use project from the Bozzuto Group.

Anthem House will be a 100 ft. tall building with 292 condos, and 20,000 sq. ft. for retail and parking. The E. Fort Ave. development will have a โ€œhealth and wellnessโ€ theme, featuring a large outdoor activity space.

It marks a joint venture between two of the cityโ€™s busiest developers in Bozzuto and War Horse LLC, the latter of which is owned by Under Armour founder Kevin Plankโ€™s brother, Scott Plank.

โ€œWe all must be participants in the creation of beauty to make an impact on this city,โ€ Toby Bozzuto said at a groundbreaking held Wednesday, which was also attended by city dignitaries like Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake.
