The good news is that Baltimore drivers are apparently not as bad as those kooks in DC and Boston. The bad news is that we’re worse than pretty much everyone else.
This sad-but-believable news comes from Thrillist, which created its worst-driver rankings using data from Allstate. Apparently, Baltimore drivers get in an accident every five years on average. We’re also 84.9% more likely to get in an accident, compared to the national average. That is… not good.
Other studies over time have shown similarly abysmal results.
Keep this in mind as we face the next ice storm– and do your part to drive safe and get Baltimore off this bad-driver list!
