Easter egg hunts and other fun are sweeping across Baltimore this weekend.

Plus, acclaimed rapper Cardi B will perform at CFG Bank Arena on Saturday.

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Thursday, April 2 through Sunday, April 12, Proscenium Theatre at UMBC. UMBC Theatre presents The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, adapted by Jacqueline E. Lawton and directed by Joseph W. Ritsch.

Spring Break Scavenger Hunts, Thursday, April 2, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., B&O Railroad Museum. Young explorers can enjoy three exciting scavenger hunts: the Bank of America Model Train Gallery Scavenger Hunt, Maryland History Scavenger Hunt, and the Underground Railroad Scavenger Hunt.  

Nature by the Fire: Bugs and Bonfires, Friday, April 3, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Irvine Nature Center. Warm up by the campfire and join Naturalist, Ash, for a family-friendly way to enjoy the outdoors. Roast marshmallows, meet one of Irvine’s animal ambassadors, and dive into hands-on nature-themed fun.

BRB (Baltimore Record Bazaar) Vinyl Nite, Friday, April 3, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Peabody Heights Brewery. Free and family friendly, 1st Fridays in the Taproom features craft beer, a concession stand, Dugout Arcade, and DJ Mikie Love & Friends spinning and selling vinyl.

Music for Good Friday, Friday, April 3, 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., St. David’s Church. Join the Choir of St. David’s for a program of choral and organ music, featuring Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem in D minor.

Bunny BonanZOO, Friday, April 3, through Sunday, April 5, Maryland Zoo. Hop on over to the zoo for a day of Easter fun with the whole family. Hunt for eggs, make crafts, play carnival games, and more.

Federal Hill Easter Egg Hunt, Saturday, April 4, 10 a.m., Federal Hill Park. Go on the hunt for easter eggs throughout the park in this event organized by Catholic Community of South Baltimore. Attendees can also meet the Easter bunny, play games, make crafts, and more.

Elizabeth Hazen Book Launch, Saturday, April 4, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., The Ivy Bookshop. Mary Jo Salter and Courtney LeBlanc will join Elizabeth Hazen for a conversation about her new poetry collection, The Sky Will Hold.

Cardi B, Saturday, April 4, doors open at 7:30 p.m., event begins at 8 p.m., CFG Bank Arena. Grammy award-winning rapper Cardi B will take the stage at CFG Bank Arena during the Baltimore stop of her Little Miss Drama Tour. She became the first-ever solo female artist to win the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album, which she earned with her debut album, “Invasion of Privacy.” Last year, she released her second album, “Am I the Drama?”

Easter Extravaganza at the B&O Railroad Museum, Saturday and Sunday, April 4 and April 5, B&O Railroad Museum. This“Egg-stra Special” weekend is filled with family-oriented activities, including Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, two egg hunts across the historic campus, and a train ride with our floppy eared guest of honor. Sunday morning’s Easter Egg Hunt is sensory-friendly, designed with neurodivergent guests in mind.

Turkish Lamp Workshop, Saturday, April 4, and Sunday, April 5, 6 p.m., Hyatt Place Baltimore/Inner Harbor., 511 S. Central Ave. Learn how to make a Turkish mosaic lamp during this 2.5-hour, hands-on workshop. No experience necessary. Attendees will also get to enjoy Turkish tea and delights while they design their lamp.
