From cultural festivals to neighborhood celebrations, Baltimore’s events span from the local to international this weekend.
Fans of comic books and related media will also be excited for the return of Baltimore Comic-Con.

Anne Wilson, Thursday, Sept. 24, doors open at 6 p.m., event starts at 7 p.m., Lyric Baltimore. Previously scheduled to perform here on May 9, Anne Wilson’s STARS Tour stop in Baltimore has been rescheduled to Sept. 24. Now is your chance to see Christian music singer and author in concert.
Simone Baron Quartet, Thursday, Sept. 24, 7 to 8:30 p.m., Mount Vernon Place. Part of Mount Vernon’s Summer in the Squares live music series, the Simone Baron Quartet has been rescheduled to perform this Thursday.
Avena Maryland Italian Festival, Friday, Sept. 25, through Sunday, Sept. 27, Ripken Stadium, Aberdeen. Enjoy live musical performances throughout the weekend, carnival rides and games, authentic Italian cuisine and beverages, cooking demonstrations, wine seminars, as well as numerous retail vendors and

Baltimore Comic-Con, Friday, Sept. 25, through Sunday, Sept. 27, Baltimore Convention Center. Meet artists, actors, and enthusiasts from comic books and other media; participate in cosplay contests; visit and shop from exhibitiors and retailers; and more as Baltimore Comic-Con turns 27. Kids aged 10 and under get in free with a paid adult admission. The convention will run 1 to 7 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Ottobar’s 29th Anniversary Party, Friday, Sept. 25, 7 p.m., Ottobar. Celebrate 29 years of Ottobar with War on Women, Ted Leo, Rye Coaltion, and Sleepytime Trio.
Sainted Trap Choir, Friday, Sept. 25, doors open at 6:30 p.m., event starts at 7:30 p.m., Lyric Baltimore. The Sainted Trap Choir has performed on “America’s Got Talent,” at the Super Bowl, and at the 2026 GRAMMY Awards. Now, they’re coming to Baltimore to present “The Envolution of Jazz: The Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong Songbook,” an evening rooted in the sounds of the Southern Black Church and that blends jazz standards with gospel, trap, and contemporary Black music.
Grown Up Field Trip: Beetlejuice, Friday, Sept. 25, 7 to 10 p.m., Maryland Science Center. Watch a science show from afterlife specialists, visit Betelgeuse in the planetarium, grab a beverage from Pherm Brewing Company, and more. This event is for adults age 21 and older. Participants must present a valid ID.
Breakfast with the Elephants, Saturday, Sept. 26, 9 to 10:30 a.m., Elephant Exhibit, Maryland Zoo. Fill up on a buffet-style breakfast while you hear from the elephants’ keepers. Afterwards, keepers will give elephants an enrichment treat.
Lauraville Fair, Saturday, Sept. 26, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., 4100 Harford Road. Shop from vendors, enjoy live music, and gather with community members at the 40th annual Lauraville Fair.
Baltimore Rhythm Festival, Saturday, Sept. 26, noon to 6 p.m., 1600 Guilfrod Ave. Enjoy local, national, and international talent across two stages. Plus, participate in workshops whether you’re a beginner or seasoned performer. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own drums if they have them.
Children’s African Festival, Saturday, Sept. 26, noon to 5 p.m., Sankofa Children’s Museum. Bring your kids for an afternoon full of fun at the Children’s African Festival. There will be a drumming workshop, fashion show, African dance, and more.
Pigtown Festival, Saturday, Sept. 26, noon to 7 p.m., 700-1100 blocks of Washington Boulevard. Watch “The Squeakness” pig races, dance to DJ sets and live music, enjoy food and drinks, shop from more than 70 arts and crafts vendors, and more at the 24th annual Pigtown Festival.
Backyard Céilí, Saturday, Sept. 26, 1 to 4 p.m., Irish American Museum, 918-920 Lemmon St. The Irish American Museum will host a traditional Céilí, where attendees can dance along to music from Laura Byrne, Billy McComiskey, and Matt Mulqueen Friends. There will also be a special performance by the Tír na nÓg dance group and showcase by Baltimore Irish Music School students.
Bands for Brains, Saturday, Sept. 26, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Peabody Heights Brewery. Join the Brain Injury Association of Maryland (BIAMD) for evening of live music, local talent, and community coming together to support Marylanders affected by brain injury.
Spacehog, Saturday, Sept. 26, doors at 7 p.m., show at 8 p.m., Baltimore Soundstage. Best known for their ’96 single “In the Meantime,” Spacehog will make a stop in Baltimore on their 2026 tour.
Gala with Samara Joy, Saturday, Sept. 26, 8 p.m., Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Jazz sensation Samara Joy will join the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra for an annual celebration of the BSO’s work across Maryland.
National Ghost Hunting Day, Saturday, Sept. 26, 8 p.m., Lord Baltimore Hotel. Celebrate National Ghost Hunting Day at the Lord Baltimore Hotel. The Lord Baltimore Hotel is ranked as one of the most haunted hotels in the United States.
