First Thursday Concert, Thursday, July 11, 6 p.m. to 9:50 p.m., Canton Waterfront Park. Come out to Canton to listen to live music along the waterfront. This month’s concert will feature performances by Enslow, Fantastic Cat, and Phosphorescent.
Field of Dreams, Thursday, July 11, 8:30 p.m., American Visionary Art Museum. AVAM is kicking off this season of their Flicks from the Hill movie series with a showing of “Field of Dreams.” There will be food trucks and pre-film activities, including a free classroom supplies for teachers.
Bubble Days, Saturday, July 13, and Sunday, July 14, Maryland Science Center. Pop on by the Maryland Science Center as bubble artist Casey Carle shares his Bubblemania show. Attendees can create and test their own bubble solution, race a bubble through obstacles, make bubble towers and more.
Janet Jackson, Saturday, July 13, doors open 7 p.m., event begins 8 p.m., CFG Bank Arena. Calling all members of the Rhythm Nation. Janet Jackson will perform in Baltimore for her Together Again tour. Jackson is revisiting CFG Bank Arena after last performing there in May 2023.
Eric Roberson, Saturday, July 13, doors 7 p.m. show 8 p.m., Baltimore Soundstage. Grammy nominee Eric Roberson is coming to Baltimore as part of his 30th Anniversary Tour, accompanied by DJ Mills. Roberson was among the performers at Baltimore’s 2023 AFRAM festival. He is a singer, songwriter, producer, Howard University alum, and a professor at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, Saturday, July 13, 7:30 p.m., Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra will perform Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons,” as well as a selection of other pieces.
Joyce Scott Exhibition Closing, Sunday, July 14, Baltimore Museum of Art. Artist Joyce J. Scott’s “Walk a Mile in My Dreams” exhibition will close this Sunday at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Read more about the exhibition in this Baltimore Fishbowl article.
The History Behind Bridgerton, Sunday, July 14, 4 p.m., Guilford Hall Brewery. Are you a fan of the Netflix series “Bridgerton” (and the book series it is based upon)? Learn about British life of the time period depicted in the series. Amy Froide, a University of Maryland Baltimore County history professor and a scholar of British and women’s history, will lead this installment of Profs and Pints Baltimore, “The History Behind Bridgerton.”
