One of Baltimore’s favorite shopping experiences happens on a bus. This form of store is timeless and versatile, but even they need makeovers from time to time.
GoGo’s Retread Threads and founder Stacey Chambers are set to celebrate six years of rolling around the city with an old school bus full of vintage wear this weekend. On Saturday night at 6 p.m., the bus is posting up at the Hollywood Diner Food Truck Park, near the swath of highway underpass where the JFX Farmers Market usually sets up. The party features drinks and music courtesy of Landis Expandis. Gogo’s is used to helping others stay fashion forward, but in this case the bus itself is in need of an update.
“Argententean Muralist Alfredo Segatori is super into buses and happens to be in town so he’ll be giving the old bus a new mural which you can watch live as it happens,” Chambers writes.
