You know you’ve really made it in music when you’re mentioned in a celebrity fluff piece on BuzzFeed. Or so I’m told. In a list of “20 celebrities and their musician doppelgangers,” included among some wild match-ups (Angela Lansbury and Paul McCartney? Jennifer Aniston and Iggy Pop?) is Samuel T. Herring of Baltimore’s own Future Islands.
Trust me when I tell you his vague resemblance to Jack Black disappears when he isn’t mugging dramatically for the audience.
