Back in January, we told you about a premiere party for “Black Panther,” the much-hyped movie adaptation of the comic book of the same name, hosted by more than a half-dozen community groups.

Buzz about the film has only grown since then, with advance ticket sales soaring and people raving about the fashion at the Hollywood premiere.

Two more local groups, Belair-Edison Neigborhoods, Inc. and the Morgan Community Mile, are hosting a local premiere party for the film, on Feb. 15, a day before the national release.

The party includes a reception with food and drinks, a red carpet photo shoot with characters in costume, gift bags and more. Though a location has yet to be announced, a ticket guarantees a reserved seat for the screening as well.

Tickets cost $50 and the party begins at 7:15 p.m. Proceeds benefit Belair-Edison Neigborhoods, Inc., a nonprofit that works to build investment in the Northeast Baltimore neighborhood.
