On Friday, BJ’s Wholesale Club officially opened a new location at 4901 O’Donnell St. in Canton. It’s another retail space in Southeast Baltimore to go with Canton Crossing. In addition to offering cartoon-sized peanut butter jars, blocks of cheese and other favorite foods, the new spot is creating 100 full-and part-time jobs.
BJ’s also made a host of donations to community orgs as they arrived. The company gave $1,000 for programming and $1,500 in school supplies to William Paca Elementary. They’re also donating donate $2,500 to the Maryland Center for Vets Education and Training (MCVET), the Boys and Girls Club of Metropolitan Baltimore, and the Maryland Food Bank.
