catch of the day fish (2)The Baltimore Museum of Art has art to explore that even folks who love the arts probably don’t even know about, and it’s also a great spot to get together. A new event series is looking to combine those two assets.

Inline image 1On Saturday evening, October 8, the BMA kicks off its new Salon Series.

“This new event series is designed for busy professionals with creative, curious minds who want to meet other people interested in the arts,” BMA writes.

The first edition has a Japanese theme. The activities at the event include kimono dressing demonstration and a talk on the topic, as well as music.

As for refreshements, Master Saké Sommelier Tiffany Soto is set to offer sake and whiskey tastings. They’re also serving Japanese hors d’oeuvres and pocky.
