Jess Gallagher: City of Stories | Evening Reception
Thursday, June 4 :: 6-8pm
@ The Galleries at CCBC, Dundalk
This exhibit features photographs by Jessica Gallagher, a Pulitzer Prize–winning photographer with The Baltimore Banner and a Dundalk native. Drawing on her connection to the place she calls home, Gallagher documents Baltimore and its surrounding communities with honesty, care, and attention to everyday life. Her images highlight small, often overlooked moments while addressing larger social realities, offering viewers a perspective shaped by trust, experience, and a genuine sense of place.

Abby Fitzgibbon: Feel Small | Opening Reception
Thursday, June 4 :: 6-9pm
@ Alchemy of Art
In her latest show “Feel Small”, artist Abby Fitzgibbon invites us into a world of inverted proportions. Oversized three-dimensional caricatures of diet culture and larger-than-life plushy insects shrink the audience and explore the cultural values tied to smallness.

Mama Maria Broom: An Evening of Celebration
Friday, June 5 :: 5pm
@ Baltimore School for the Arts
Join us as we honor “Mama Maria” Broom, a beloved long-time Baltimore School for the Arts faculty member whose impact on generations of young artists continues to resonate. Gather to celebrate her enduring spirit and the lasting mark she made on BSA and beyond.
This event is free and RSVP is required. Please consider also donating to Mama Maria’s GoFundMe to help support her recovery and new home.
