Baltimore Symphony Orchestra oboist Katherine Needleman is well aware that one must prepare to be a good guest at parties around this time of year. Thatโ€™s why she has a party trick ready.

The double nose recorder looks like a triumph of nostril coordination, airflow control and clear sinuses. While she makes it look easy, thereโ€™s good reason. Needleman writes on Facebook that sheโ€™s been perfecting it since third grade. To be fully in-season, she prepared a double nose rendition of โ€œJingle Bells.โ€
