The Park School of Baltimore’s 100-acre campus is a living laboratory where students from Pre-K through Grade 12 explore, create, and connect with the natural world every day. Interconnected academic buildings — with a net-zero Science & Engineering Wing and dedicated arts and athletic facilities — serve as hubs for discovery, and outdoor classroom spaces, woodlands, trails, gardens, a pond, and a stream are easily accessible and often visited.
STEM: Learning by Doing
Park’s campus provides endless opportunities for scientific exploration and engineering innovation. In the labs of the school’s new 12,500-square-foot Science & Engineering Wing, students build a human-powered amphibious vehicle to race through downtown Baltimore as part of the American Visionary Art Museum’s Kinetic Sculpture Race. Students of all ages conduct field studies in the stream that runs through campus, and use the pond as a site for observation, experimentation, and environmental research, learning how to think and behave like scientists.
Athletics: Space to Grow and Compete
Park’s 42,000-square-foot Athletic Center anchors a competitive interscholastic athletic program that emphasizes teamwork, wellness, and personal growth. The facility includes three basketball courts, a fitness center, training room, locker rooms, and an outdoor swimming pool. Five playing fields on the main campus and additional fields at the nearby Sugar Campus provide exceptional spaces for practice and competition. An on-campus tennis complex joins the suite of facilities this fall. Beyond Park’s athletic program, students use the fields, trails, and Challenge Course to build strength, resilience, and confidence.
The Arts: Creativity at Every Turn
The 44,000-square-foot Wyman Arts Center is home to a vibrant visual and performing arts program. Students learn and create in drawing and painting studios, a photography studio, digital imaging lab, recording studio, and maker spaces for wood, metal, and ceramics. Two theaters provide venues for performances, assemblies, and gatherings. The studios and stages at Park are transformative spaces, giving students opportunities to imagine, experiment, and thoughtfully and creatively engage and build community.
All areas of Park’s campus, both indoors and out, provide opportunities for hands-on experiences that reward curiosity and inspire growth.
