Ask St. Paul’s students about their favorite place on campus, and you’ll hear a common refrain: the hill. Nestled at the heart of The St. Paul’s Schools’ 130-acre campus, this iconic gathering place brings the community together. Students from St. Paul’s School for Girls and St. Paul’s School for Boys share lunch in Adirondack chairs, faculty lead outdoor classes by the Victory Bell, and the youngest learners from St. Paul’s Pre and Lower School celebrate One St. Paul’s Day with an annual dance party on the grass—all
set against sweeping views of Greenspring Valley.

Beyond the hill, opportunities unfold in every direction. In 2025, St. Paul’s unveiled an $18 million renovation and expansion of the girls’ school, featuring a signature Experience+ Center for career exploration and real-world learning, two makerspaces, eight science labs, a digital computing studio, and a health and wellness suite. These innovative spaces complement the boys’ school expansion completed in 2020, reflecting the schools’ ongoing commitment to hands-on, future-focused learning.

Across campus, students are encouraged to explore new interests and discover their passions. They broadcast live on St. Paul’s Radio, build projects in the woodshop, investigate local ecosystems along the Carico Trail, and extend classroom learning through the Darrell Nature Pavilion and community garden.

Creativity flourishes in the Ward Center for the Arts, home to a 283-seat theater, black box theater, dance studios, visual and digital arts classrooms, music studios, and the St. Paul’s Chapel, where performances, assemblies, and services unite the community.

Athletics are equally expansive, with two turf fields, seven grass fields, 18 tennis courts, performance and practice gyms, golf simulators, squash courts, new batting cages, and dedicated training facilities that support student-athletes year-round.

There’s never been a better time to experience St. Paul’s.

Explore the campus, register for an upcoming admissions event, and discover the view for yourself.
