Baltimore Pride turns 50 this year, and Charm City is celebrating the milestone with a month-long itinerary of LGBTQ+ events.

From the annual Pride parade and block party, to events showcasing cabaret performances and youth sports, there’s bound to be something for every person’s hue in the rainbow.

Pride Night, Thursday, June 5, 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., Everyman Theatre. Before Everyman’s June 5 performance of “The Mystery of Irma Vep: A Penny Dreadful,” there will be a pre-show concert with The New Wave Singers of Baltimore, Maryland’s premiere LGBTQ+ chorus. The group will perform songs of hope, diversity, inclusion, and humor. (The pre-show will run from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., followed by the main theatrical performance from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a post-show cast conversation from 9 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.)

Rainbow Run, Saturday, June 7, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Patterson Park (adjacent to Virginia S. Baker Recreation Center). Run through a colorful two-mile course through Patterson Park. After crossing the finish line, enjoy a drink from Mobtown Brewering at the beer garden, bring your little ones to the Kids Zone, and meet fellow community members. Register here.

Pride Celebration, Saturday, June 7, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., Movement Hampden and Union Craft Brewing. Support Unmatched Athlete, a Maryland nonprofit that provides sports opportunities for LGBTQ+ youth and allies, during their fundraiser. The event at Movement Hampden will feature climbing activities for youth (1 p.m. to 4 p.m.) and a social hour (5 p.m. to 6 p.m.). Then, continue the fun later from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a drag show at Union Craft Brewing, featuring this year’s newly-crowned Baltimore Pride Drag King and Queen, plus music by DJ Deezy. Raffle tickets are $5 for 1, $10 for 3.

Pride On The Waterfront, Saturday, June 7, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Inner Harbor Amphitheater, 201 E. Pratt St. The Baltimore by Baltimore Festival Series is returning this month, with a special Pride edition curated by Dapper Dan Midas (DDm). A Baltimore native, rapper, and creator behind the “Secretary of Shade” YouTube channel, DDm has put together a lineup celebrating the LGBTQ+ community, including “All Aboard: A Drag Hour” by The Club Car Baltimore, Stealya-manz, Kotic Couture, DJ 7oey, DJ DNyce, and JPope and The HearNow.

50 Shades of Pride: Opening Happy Hour, Monday, June 9, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., 33 W. North Ave. The 50th year of Baltimore Pride will officially kick off with an happy hour featuring music and merriment.

Slay and Sake, Tuesday, June 10, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Shake & Bake Family Fun Center, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. Sip sake, skate the rink, and have a spectacularly fun time.

Pride Picnic and Play, Wednesday, June 11, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Patterson Park, 2601 E. Baltimore St. Play games, have a picnic, and enjoy a day in the park.

Happy Hour, Wednesday, June 11, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., The Manor, 924 N. Charles St. Be in community with other LGBTQ+ Baltimoreans and allies at this happy hour event.

Pride on the Patio, Thursday, June 12, 7 p.m. to 11:59 p.m., Guilford Hall Brewery, 1611 Guilford Ave. Sip on a drink and listen to some good tunes on the brewery’s patio.

Mount Vernon Pride, Friday, June 13, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Park Ave. and Read St. Check out art installations, shop from community vendors, listen and dance along to DJs and live performances, and enjoy other activities in Mount Vernon.

Twilight on the Terrace, The Pride Center of Maryland’s 20th fundraising gala, will take place June 13 at the M&T Bank Exchange.

Pride Month Exhibitions, Friday, June 13, 5 p.m. 9 p.m., Night Owl Gallery, 1735 Maryland Ave. Two solo exhibitions, both by Baltimore-based artists exploring queer identity, will open at Night Owl Gallery: “Repeat After Me” by David Ayala and “Held in Color” by Yamah.

Twilight on the Terrace, Friday, June 13, 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., M&T Bank Exchange at the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center, 401 W. Fayette St. Enjoy an evening of great food, music, an open bar, and dancing under the stars at The Pride Center of Maryland’s 20th fundraising gala. Singer Jennifer Holliday will perform.

Big Top Revival: A Pride Variety Show, Friday, June 13, 9 p.m., Hotel Revival Baltimore. Baltimore-based performer Betty O’Hellno will host this queer cabaret variety show for guests age 21 and older, featuring drag, burlesque, and ballroom performances. Guests are encouraged to wear costumes in line with the vaudeville-inspired theme. A portion of proceeds will benefit Baltimore Safe Haven, a nonprofit organization that provides housing and resources to members of the LGBTQ+ community.

“Unaffiliated” Pride Vendor Market, Saturday, June 14, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mobtown Ballroom & Cafe (30 W. North Ave.) and Night Owl Gallery (1735 Maryland Ave.). Shop from more than 20 queer makers and vendors, make arts & crafts (be sure to bring something to stamp at the block-printing station), and enjoy being in community with LGBTQ+ people.

Pride Parade, Saturday, June 14, parade begins at 12 p.m., route starts at Charles Street and North Avenue. Cheer on floats, drag royalty, community organizations, marching bands, and other parade participants in this celebration of LGBTQ+ past, present, and future.

Block Party, Saturday, June 14, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Charles Street and 29th Street. Following the parade, keep the fun going at the Baltimore Pride Block Party. The festivities will include DJs, live performances, dancing, food trucks, street vendors, and more.

Pride in the Park, Sunday, June 15, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Druid Hill Park, 900 Druid Park Lake Drive. Over in northwest Baltimore, the Pride festivities continue at Druid Hill Park with live performances, DJ sets, art, games, photo ops, giveaways, community vendors, food trucks, and fun for the whole family (pets included).

Queer & Christian Book Tour, Wednesday, June 18, 7 p.m., Brown Memorial Park Avenue Presbyterian Church. A panel discussion featuring Rev. Brandon Robertson, author of “Queer & Christian,” will explor LGBTQ+ identity and Christian faith.

Flamy Grant, Monday, June 30, 7 p.m., Brown Memorial Park Avenue Presbyterian Church. Drag queen and Christian music artist Flamy Grant will present a concert performance.
